La Ponderosa I
The main
aim by the size extention of these modest bungalow was to preserve the
qualities and style of the existing building. The building do not have
air-condition. Verandas supply shade, while lattice windows arranged
at them allow ligth to penetrate the rooms.
The verandas and the wooden terrace which is partially covered by a
pergola, become in effect the main living areas.

La ponderosa II
This detached
house planned in a narrow, sloping plot of land in the outskirts of the
village, ist minimalist yet spatially complex.
The dominating element of this building, the enormous slanting green roof
appears to float above the exciting bamboo support structure.
Ecology and sustainability were the starting point for the design.
